Promotion

FUP collaborates directly with the authors to identify the most appropriate and effective forms of dissemination, promotion and distribution for each individual work or journal.

The channels currently employed by FUP are:

the FUP website: the website is the initial point of access for a detailed knowledge of the publishing activities of Firenze University Press, and the main engine for dissemination and promotion of its products.

Paper distribution

Publications in paper format are distributed:

from 2008 by a national distributor all over Italy (PDE);
through Casalini Libri for distribution to libraries and institutions, and abroad;
via online sales on the FUP website;
through the Print on demand offered as an alternative to download of the digital format, again on the FUP website;
via co-editions with other publishers.

Inclusion in bibliographical databases:
in the FUP website and catalogue;
in the catalogues of its distributors;
in the catalogues of books on sale: Alice and Internet Bookshop Italia;
in Ulrich's Periodicals Directory , for journals;
in other directories and web tools: Catalogo Italiano dei Periodici (ACNP) (Italian Periodicals Catalogue) and DOAJ.
