Il bilancio sociale degli enti non profit: esperienze toscane

  • Luca Bagnoli,
  • Maurizio Catalano,

The social report measures and evaluates the results achieved by a non-profit organisation from an economic and social point of view. In light of this remark, the project "BILANCIO SOCIALE DEGLI ENTI NON PROFIT" (Social Report of Non-Profit Organisations) has been launched, involving the Tuscany Region, the Provinces of Florence and Pistoia, Cesvot, the association Le Reti di Kilim and the Department of Business Sciences of the University of Florence. The research path, aimed at identifying a reference model for the social reporting process of third sector organiaations, after a significant theoretical research phase which has resulted in the PISR notebook no. 2 entitled "Alcune considerazioni in tema di bilancio sociale del maggio 2002" ("Some considerations regarding the social report of May 2002"), made clear the opportunity to proceed to a concretisation of what was elaborated. In other words, it was a question of applying the previous theoretical conclusions to some "pilot" organisations and of recounting this experience. Specifically, the work reports some social reports in the realisation of which the authors of this notebook participated. For each of these, a summary and comment grid has been created, with the purpose of facilitating a comparative reading.
